Artificial Analysis puts Claude Opus 5.5 (max) at $5.98 per Intelligence Index task

Artificial Analysis estimates that Claude Opus 5.5 (max) costs $5.98 per Intelligence Index task, similar to $5.86 for Opus 5 (max). It says the similar cost combines a significant increase in token use with Anthropic’s price reductions.

Compared with Opus 5, the higher token use would raise the cost per task by about 80%, to $10.51. Artificial Analysis says a 20% cut to base prices brings that figure to $8.41, and cutting cache reads further to $0.20 brings it to $5.98, an additional 29% cut.
