Claude Sonnet 5.5 (High) ranks fourth in Code Arena WebDev

Arena.ai says Claude Sonnet 5.5 (High) scored 1,699 points in Code Arena: WebDev and now ranks fourth. It puts the blended price at $8 per million tokens and says the model is 80% cheaper than both Claude Fable 5.1 (Max), ranked third overall, and GPT-6 Astra (Max), ranked second.

Compared with Sonnet 5 (High), which scored 1,540 points and ranked 37th, Arena.ai reports a gain of 159 points. It also lists moves to fourth in Reference-Based Design from 38th, Simulations from 37th, and Gaming from 36th.
