StepFun open-sources terminal coding agent Step Code v0.1.0

StepFun has released Step Code v0.1.0 as open source under the MIT License. The terminal coding agent handles reading and editing code, running tests, and shipping from a single CLI. The code is in the Step Code GitHub repository.

StepFun reports that, in its evaluation, Step Code scored 80.9% on Terminal-Bench 2.1 and 73.3% on Multi-Frame, its own 150-task long-horizon benchmark. The release also includes one-command static site publishing with StepPage.
