Ali Ghodsi says GPT-6 Luna is 20 times cheaper than Opus 5.5 for high-volume routing, and calls the model shockingly capable.

He says the latest AI models were tested on 2,400 engineers and that the cost/quality frontier shifted substantially. Opus 5.5 is their new daily default, offering higher quality at a cost 20% lower than prior baselines.
