Forbes reports hacker used DeepSeek, Kimi and older Claude against as many as 100 organizations
A Chinese-speaking hacker deployed AI agents over five days earlier in September 2026 to attack as many as 100 organizations and steal hundreds of thousands of credit card details, Forbes reports.
Forbes says the hacker automated the attacks with the Chinese models DeepSeek and Kimi and an older version of Anthropic’s Claude. The attacks cost $8,000 in total.
