Google AI starts rolling out Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS and Flash-Lite TTS

Google AI is rolling out Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS and Gemini 3.8 Flash-Lite TTS starting September 23, 2026. Developers get both models in Google AI Studio and the Gemini API.

For consumers, Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS is rolling out in Gemini Notebook, and Gemini 3.8 Flash-Lite TTS is rolling out in Google Vids. Both models are coming soon to Gemini Enterprise. Google AI’s Gemini 3.8 text-to-speech page covers the rollout.
