Arena.ai says Claude Opus 5.5 (High) has debuted at No. 1 in Text Arena with 1,509 points. That is an 18-point improvement over Claude Opus 5 (High), now ranked 11th. Claude Opus 4.6 (High) remains second, 4 points behind the lead.

Arena.ai says the release puts Anthropic in all six top Text Arena spots. It also places Claude Opus 5.5 (High) on the Text Arena Pareto frontier at a blended $16 per million tokens, based on input and output pricing.
