Alibaba Cloud announced Qwen-Image-2.1, a unified 7B image generation and editing model with open weights. The company says it natively handles RGBA layers, supports up to 10 reference images, and is available on GitHub, ModelScope, and Hugging Face.
SGLang said SGLang-Diffusion now has day-0 support for Qwen-Image 2.1, covering text-to-image, multi-image editing, and transparent RGBA output. Qwen thanked the project and said the stack now serves those capabilities.
