Databricks Genie One MCP is now generally available

Databricks has made Genie One MCP generally available. Teams working in ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or custom agents can use one interface to access structured and unstructured data, insights, and answers from Genie One, grounded in governed business context from Genie Ontology.

The interface keeps shared definitions and domain semantics consistent across agents. It includes questions, results, visualizations, and Genie Ontology citations, with centralized governance through Unity Gateway, including fine-grained policies and audit logging.
