Databricks introduces the Unity Gateway CLI for coding agents

Databricks has introduced the Unity Gateway CLI. Developers can continue working in Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and other coding agents, while administrators manage models, tools, policies and budgets in Unity Gateway. When a team updates the configuration once, the CLI rolls that change out across supported agents.

Through the CLI, teams can centrally set default models, MCP servers, skills, Smart Routing and spending policies; launch approved coding agents with one command and automatically apply organization settings; and track spending and capture traces across supported coding agents.
