Claude Sonnet 5.5 is available on Databricks across AWS, Azure, and GCP

Databricks has made Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet 5.5 available across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with calls governed by Unity Gateway. Databricks says the model improves efficiency over Sonnet 5 for coding and agentic use cases and reached Opus 5-level accuracy on document understanding, parsing, and search.

Sonnet 5.5 joins Claude Opus 5.5, Claude Fable 5.1, and more than 60 open-source and frontier models already offered on Databricks. Details are in the September product release notes.
