Arena.ai ranks GPT-6 Luna (Max) 24th in Code Arena WebDev

Arena.ai ranks OpenAI’s GPT-6 Luna (Max) 24th in Code Arena: WebDev with 1,593 points. That score is 74 points higher than GPT-5.6 Luna (xHigh), which Arena.ai now ranks 41st.

Arena.ai says the latest Luna performs on par with lower-cost models Gemini 3.7 Flash High and Qwen 3.8-27B, at a blended price of $0.40 per million tokens.

OpenAI introduced GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna as faster, lower-priced models that bring much of GPT-6 Astra’s capability to work at scale. OpenAI says more efficient caching and inference allow API prices for Sol and Luna that are 50% lower than GPT-5.6 promotional pricing.
